Agrobusiness Niederrhein e. V. drives innovation forward

Kempen, April 26, 2024 – Together with “Agrobusiness Niederrhein e. V.”, our Agrobusiness Niederrhein network invited interested parties to visit the premises of new association member AI.Land. The company presented its innovative autonomous robots for the field. The event generated a lively exchange of ideas and further expanded the TransRegINT network.

AI.Land, a leading company in Kempen, aims to automate agriculture. Autonomous robots can already take over individual subtasks such as soil work, planting and harvesting. However, Dr. Josef Franko, founder of AI.Land, is pursuing a more comprehensive approach to automated agriculture. His vision is a multi-purpose agricultural robot that autonomously performs all tasks, from planting and care to harvesting and packaging, without the need for humans to touch the plant.

Dr. Anke Schirocki, Managing Director of Agrobusiness Niederrhein, emphasizes the importance of such events for the transfer of knowledge and the promotion of innovation in the region: “Our network offers companies like AI.Land a platform to work together with other players from the industry on forward-looking solutions.” AI.Land is therefore expected to be represented by the Agrobusiness Association at the university event “Students meet business”.
