Scientists from Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences present their current research in the field of sustainable food systems.
In 2021, the interdisciplinary and cross-faculty Sustainable Food Systems Research Centre was founded at our university. The researchers deal with the complex challenges of global foodsystems and the use of biogenic materials, taking into account the sustainable safeguarding of resources. A central topic is, for example, the establishment of a regional circulareconomy. How can “waste” from agriculture and the food industry be reused? An important topic for the Lower Rhine too!
Nele Vahrenhorst and colleagues present current research projects.
The event will take place in German language. Prior registration is not required.
