The Innovation Management Society team at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences strengthens the exchange between science and society.
On the one hand, this involves integrating people, local authorities, associations and institutions in the region more closely into the university and scientific processes – so that research and development do not ignore the realities of life.
On the other hand, it means opening up the university to the questions, needs and challenges of everyday life. Many issues that concern people can be re-examined using scientific methods.
Whether it’s education, coexistence, sustainability or innovation in rural areas, we bring people from the region and experts together. To this end, we have developed, among other things, the DialogPunkt event series – physical meeting places in various cities in the Lower Rhine region.
