Andreas Gebbink, head of the NRZ Kleve / Emmerich editorial team, will moderate the evening on the topic of “Dealing with climate impacts and environmental damage”. The invited experts are Dr Barbara Hendricks, former Federal Minister for the Environment, Lisa Henke, Fridays for Future Kleve, Dietrich Cerff, NABU Nature Conservation Station Niederrhein, Prof Dr Florian Wichern, HSRW and Prof Dr Sylvia Moenickes, HSRW. They will examine current challenges such as the overheating of city centres, the depletion of soils and water scarcity from various perspectives and discuss measures
The question in focus is:
“To what extent can the ideal of sustainable, climate-friendly living and environmental protection be realised in practice?”
