Our LabLandscapes team cordially invites you to the next company evening. Topic of the evening: Robotics!
In times of a shortage of skilled labour, robotics is becoming increasingly attractive. At the same time, small and medium-sized companies in particular need to overcome obstacles to their use – from acquisition to integration into work processes, many questions arise here. We will address these at a company evening focusing on collaborative robots (cobots) on 18 March 2025 at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kamp-Lintfort.
The event will not only provide insights into this fascinating technology, but also concrete ideas for potential collaborations between companies and the university. The Usability Lab and the AIS Lab will be opening their doors for this event with tasty snacks and drinks.
Please register.
Cobots for companies
The use of collaborative robots (cobots) can automate work steps in an industrial process (e.g. gripping and sorting) and thus relieve employees so that they have more time for more demanding tasks. In contrast to large industrial robots, cobots are inexpensive and can be used flexibly, even for small batch production. We use the UFactory Lite 6 robot arm to show how it can be used and controlled for various applications. This includes the combination with other components such as voice control, camera and AI (for automatic object recognition).
