Individuals, private groups, students, educational institutions, businesses, associations, start-ups and organisations are invited to submit their ideas in the Klever Birne sustainability competition for a more sustainable future. For the first time this year, a separate school prize will be awarded, sponsored by FLUXANA GmbH & Co. KG and Omexom Smart Technologies GmbH. All general education schools across the Kleve district – from Aldekerk to Uedem, from primary schools to vocational colleges – are invited to take part.
The rules are simple: The idea is what counts. Projects will be carried out in Kleve or, in the case of the School Prize category, within the district of Kleve. The idea must address one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, i.e. it must have at least one environmental, economic or social dimension. To apply, interested parties can download the registration form from www.kleverbirne.de, complete it and submit it by email by 30 June.
In addition to three prizes, each awarded with a cash prize worth between €1,000 and €2,000 and a certificate, there is also the chance to win an audience award and, for the first time this year, the School Prize for schools in the Kleve district, worth €1,000.
